err... a final?

did you pass your class? i know my comp-sci teacher would've failed me had i handed in something with bugs annoying as this. not to mention the quiz itself is completely irrational and silly, but that's to be expected from an "impossible quiz". still, other imp-quizzes that i've played have been at least a little bit enjoyable.
in the future, submitting things without bugs is always a great way to improve your score, more legitimate content helps as well, what can i say.

well lets just say the people in my comp class submit stick movies that suck, so mine was alot better than them, considering it was a game

could use some adjustments

there's not really any point in holding your keyboard like a guitar if the strings are going to be asdfg...
other than that, the game works, and it looks pretty good. i think if you allowed a reconfig to make the strings 1-5, it would be a pretty swell production. as it stands, it just isn't guitar hero if you aren't "holding a guitar"

great concept

it really reminds me of that game Motherload, which is a great thing, but this game is so damn hard! i find a lot of your games are considerably difficult, which isn't terrible, but i wanted to play this game and was just disappointed, i guess there's a save function, which i could've made use of, but those damn sharks, it's like, grr... i dunno.
at the same time, the difficulty makes me want to favourite it and come back to it another time.
it's definitely a great concept, maybe you could add an easy mode where you get 6 lives or something, i dunno.

lawl?

i wasn't very impressed, kind of like a zombie dress up game, until the mad-libs part, then i was chuckling. still not impressed, but it added to the longevity of the game, to be sure.

wow, this is fantastic.

having only played guitar hero once, i went looking for something online that was similar (i don't own consoles). having played this, i'm going to have to buy a wii. lol.
this is really, really well made. i guess the only thing that hurts is that there aren't any popular songs, so to speak, but at the same time, i think it's great that it's on newgrounds and uses newgrounds' audio for the songs. i'm also confused as to how this many songs, sounding as good as they do, fit in to a game that's only 684kb, but i guess mine's not to reason why. i know multiplayer in a game like this isn't really manageable in flash, but could you imagine? oh, man. anyway, fantastic job, this is a great piece of work.

hah!

as soon as i hit the shift button the first time i said "i love it." aloud. it looks slick, feels great (and hell, i'm still in the tutorial and you've already got a 4, minimum), and you are right about that tune fitting quite nicely. superb!

Disconcerting..

I find it unsettling to thrash some poor girl who isn't making any attempt to fight back for 5+ minutes. Even if it is just a relatively low grade animation in a flash game, it's still just wrong; and hell, i'm not even one of those pro-feminist types, either, this is just some how weird.
I guess the side scroller part of the game wasn't terrible though. Maybe a better boss system next time?

Interesting enough, needs some work though.

The review title really says it all. changing the backgrounds but having them still be applicable was pretty cool. I thought the bartender looked like he ought to get hit with that first fireball, though.
If you want to continue on this line of thought, making it so that changing the background actually AFFECTED what happens in the scene would be very cool. Kind of like a reverse of that movie "jumper". By way of a for instance, as the guy jumps to the ledge to kick the guy in the head, if you changed the background just then, he would have no ledge to hang from and instead just go flying through the air like a fool. Just an idea.
Good luck in your future submissions. with more innovative stuff like this, you could do very well.

lol I did not think about the barman, that's a very cool idea =D next time I will make that, surely. Thanks man !

Isn't there another restaurant game like this?

Either way, i liked the queued mouse controls, although a cancel button might be good for when you misclick.
Also, i the player cannot cue "get milkshake" "start milkshake machine" because it seems that they are both one button, so to speak, which kind of takes away from things.
I also thought the indicators for the fries being burned or not were not as apparent as they needed to be, but maybe that was just me.
Lastly, not being able to continue when you finally lose absolutely sucks. especially in a long game like this.
you should make it so that you can continue but cannot submit your scores after you have already lost.
Other than that, a pretty fun game. it's funny, i wouldn't be interested in working in a fast food restaurant at all, most people really aren't, yet how many hours, collectively, do we waste playing a game like this. wonderful.

missing something

I would say you need a scoreboard or some kind of indication that you're progressing in this game for it to really be a game. Other than that, i'd say it's an appropriate style and the music was fitting, although it was such a short loop it got repetitive QUITE quickly.
Also, the loop has a break in it (dead space between each looping) that really emphasizes the fact that it is such a short audio track. Making it truly gapless would probably help to minimize the annoyance it conveys.
