2 quick bugs i found in the menu

I haven't even got to playing, but i thought i'd write up these bugs before i forget.
1) if you open the menu for options and then start a new campaign, the menu for options stays open (at least for me it did)
2) if you start a new campaign, you get that music playing, then I went back to main menu and back to the new campaign screen, and then music from the first time i was starting a new campaign was still playing.

Now I'll get to actually playing. hope it's as good as some other reviews suggest.
Good luck in your future releases too!

Thanks for your feedback, the bugs will be fixed today!

Poor show.

Can't say i enjoyed this very much.
On a practical level, the fact that you can get points just by clicking the same object over and over again means that the game comes down to mashing your mouse button.
I don't know if you played the game with sound on when you set your highscore of 146, but hearing the voice (presumably yours) say "uurr, i touched it" 238 times is fairly annoying, particularly when combined with that music.
I hope your flash skills improve, along with the playability of your games, because i feel like your ideas are sound, but that your implementation is not very good.

This is getting weird.

It seems that every time i come on newgrounds i'm reading more of the biography of your flash career. I always seem to end up reviewing your movies/games.
Well, this was the least annoying (and thus best) of your productions so far, i think. It's at least mildly amusing, i guess you're improving!
I don't understand what the F, or ANY of the game for that matter, had to do with christmas, save for the music, i guess... maybe you could improve your theme a bit more if you do go that route again, also, releasing xmas games at least some what close to xmas is generally a plus.
Well, good luck as you continue to submit more flash to the portal.

Not very practical

I review it in this manner because obviously this was neither a movie or a game designed for entertainment purposes. Frankly, compared to a real eCard this is of less quality and more difficult to use (print scrn button, cutting out the background of the screen, etc.)
I can't really complain about the flash itself, i mean, it does the job, but in earnesty the job just doesn't need doing, so to speak.
One thing i would recommend (besides scrapping this idea for flash submissions) would be to have the entered text (to and from) remain static even when the user changes the background.
Again, good luck in your future submissions.

Some potential, but...

Perhaps this wasn't the best format to use for this kind of "choose your own adventure" style game. To be honest I stopped after choosing "shell" and being told i was wrong. For instance, let's say I am playing a scorched earth style game, i could choose 45 degrees and put less or more power accordingly. Where as here i'm not free to use my own style, and it feels a bit restrictive. Furthermore, I might note, that the slow restart pace (3, 2, 1... go) adds to the frustration that a potential player might feel if he selects the wrong option. The music annoyed me, personally, as well, but i don't chalk that up to your fault, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and suggest that it just wasn't my style. I certainly wouldn't say this game was bad, i loved that vietnam commander game (can't remember the exact name) that was on newgrounds a while back, it was set up in this style, but i think the options have to be more logic and strategically oriented.
I would encourage you to put more practice in to your flashes, work on some animation, and then try again.

Sound premise, a bit rough all in all.

I give you a 5 because this is not what I would call a complete game.
The physics are definitely solid, what with the coding and all, I guess (i dunno, i'm not a programmer, I just know the ball rolls how it should). At the very least, however, I must say, there should be some kind of trigger and "good job" screen for when you get to the end. Beyond that, of course, music and sound would be swell, too.

An uncanny amount of fun.

A great game! I wouldn't have expected a spot the difference game to be as intense, really. You score extra points for the use of "Chase the Devil" in the Shop level.
I'm not sure I could even point out any places to improve, really, it was that well done. Good job!

Godlimations responds:

hey thanks for your support! I aim for perfection =D

It all happened so fast!

I guess it was an interesting concept. It seems a bit too quick, maybe i'm just challenged, I dunno. I didn't even get a chance to see if i got more points from shooting vs. catching the blocks. was i supposed to shoot or catch the blocks? I'll go back and try again.

Ectoplasma responds:

Catch the blocks?? You sir are an innovator.

Another enjoyable shooter.

I remember reviewing your first rebound game, actually, and once again I enjoy this one as well. As particularly positives go, the firearms "feel" really solid, which I enjoy. By that I mean that the sound coincides well with the recoil and apparent power of the gun, if that makes any sense. The graphics were great, given the nature of the game, as well. I'll admit that the 3 round burst on the machine gun that was said to be semi auto kind of threw me off, but that was an easy learning curve. If I had to complain about something, it would be the same as the first rebound, which was the heavy, angry, metal music on every level. When i read your comment saying that there was an options function, i was so eager to see a music off or music toggle button, but alas, sound off entirely just doesn't do it for me with regards to firing weapons. If you make further rebounds, or any other games, throwing in an option for one track that isn't so heavy for us non-metal heads/coloured people (i know, not all coloured people DON'T listen to metal, but if you were offended by that comment then newgrounds probably isn't the site for you anyway). As a side note, I am well aware that "coloured" is not politically correct. Anyway, this got well away from the point of the review, good job on another great game! Oh, one other thing, I wonder if it might have beeen possible (i know the 2 rebounds are quite finished now) to show the required score for advancement, if there was one. Or, otherwise, to have a minimum score, you know, to challenge the player BEFORE they get to the end of the game.
After having gone over two of your games, I'll have to go back and check out the rest of your submitted newgrounds pieces.

I'm a bit confused.

I give the game a good rating becaues from what I can see, it looks and sounds great, but I can't seem to fire more than one shot in the game. I tried mashing every button in case there was a reload key that I hadn't noticed in the instructions, but that didn't work. Am I somehow bugged or is there something I'm missing?
Anyway, good job on graphics/sound and all that, and zombie defense games are next to godliness, so good choice there, too. I'll keep messing around with this and hopefully I'll get to play through it.
